Petite and sweet, Elektra is a darling girl. She has had a tough road - she was abandoned on a dog trainer's property after having a litter of puppies. But this harsh treatment has not dampened her spirit. A little shy at first, she quickly warms up to loving attention and treats. Elektra is new to MAD as of late August, and appears to have low/medium energy (Mal scale). She is great with kids, dogs and adults! She doesn't know a lot of commands, but that should come quickly - she is very smart. Crate trained and housebroken. Elektra is heartworm positive and has begun her 3-4 month treatment. Heartworm is highly treatable with a 95%% successful outcome, so this won't hold this precious girl down for long. Elektra is adoptable while in treatment, so don't hesitate to reach out to learn more about her. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
