As a Lab/Golden mix, I'm agile and lively for my age!At 5 years old, I've turned a tough past into a life full of dancing, running, and pure joy.Just looking for a patient family with which to share my unique rhythm!Life took a scary turn when I was found on the side of a highway after being hit by a truck. Kind rescuers rushed me to a vet, and although one of my legs had to be amputated, my spirit remained unbroken!That accident was just a chapter, not my whole story. Today, nothing slows me down, I've traded that fourth leg for extra helpings of speed and happiness.Being a "Tripawd" doesn't stop me from running, playing, and even dancing! I'm an expert at going up stairs and a keen observer who likes to watch the world before diving into the fun.While I might be a bit timid in new places at first, once you earn my trust, I am the most caring and smart companion you could ask for. I do well with my rescuer's 2 yr old child too. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs.The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older.
