Oreo

Oreo is a young, affectionate puppy with a sweet soul and a playful spark. Mornings are her favorite, starting with happy kisses for everyone in the house before a quick potty break and breakfast. Her energy level is moderate. She enjoys playtime with other dogs but is happiest lounging indoors, napping near her humans, or quietly observing the world around her. She does well with dogs of all sizes and respects their boundaries, especially during meals and downtime. Oreo is still learning her manners. She can be impatient around food, may jump or grab at hands, and is working through food guarding during meals (this has already improved significantly with structure and training). She does not guard water and can now share treats and snacks with other dogs. She can be noise-sensitive, especially to loud sounds like motorcycles, blenders, and hair dryers. Outdoors, sudden loud noises may startle her, and she may hesitate or shut down on walks. She is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and settles after a few minutes if crated during the day.A calm, consistent home that understands puppy behavior and is willing to continue training, build confidence, and work through some reactivity around food and loud noises. An older, well-mannered dog could be helpful but is not required! Oreo would do best with adopters who are patient, observant, and committed to helping her continue to grow. Oreo is still just a puppy , affectionate, trusting, and eager to connect, and she deserves a home that will meet her where she is and help her become the best version of herself
