Crue (adoption pending)

Crue is an 9-month-old husky mix who was surrendered to MCHS on 4/9/2026. He is a very striking young dog with icy blue eyes like a husky, and we were told he's also mixed with terrier. He may keep a person on their toes, given this combination of breeds! He's a nice-sized boy who is not too large and not too small. He has been vet checked, neutered, and microchipped, and his fee is $150.

Crue is an active young dog who will require regular exercise and some training. He is at a wonderful age for training. He is a little skittish at first, but is otherwise friendly and affectionate. He likes the company of other dogs and definitely keeps a close eye on people when he's comfortable with them. We think he'll be a bit of a "velcro" dog. He has done okay with older kids but hasn't had any real experience with cats.

NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
