Princess is a gorgeous long-haired dilute torti who knows exactly how stunning she is and carries herself accordingly. She is sweet, easygoing, and confident, enjoying affection on her own terms without being overly needy. Princess does well with both dogs and cats and would thrive in a home that appreciates her independent yet loving nature. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and FeLV negative.
Princess is FIV positive, which is not a death sentence and is often misunderstood. Many FIV-positive cats live long, healthy, normal lives, sometimes never showing any symptoms at all. FIV is a slow-moving virus that is primarily spread through deep bite wounds from serious fighting, not through casual contact like sharing bowls, litter boxes, or grooming. Because of this, FIV-positive cats can safely live with FIV-negative cats when properly introduced, especially in calm, indoor environments. FIV is species-specific and cannot be transmitted to humans, dogs, or other animals. With good nutrition, regular veterinary care, and a low-stress indoor lifestyle, Princess can enjoy a full and happy life. She is a beautiful, deserving girl ready for a loving home that will see her for who she truly is.
Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets.
If you're interested in adoption, please visit straylovefoundation.org and complete an adoption application.
Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes:
A combo test
Deworming
Spay/neuter procedures
Vaccinations
Microchipping
We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life.
While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don't have their family history). Additionally, medical tests-though highly reliable-can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high.
Additional adoption details:
Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses.
Home checks may be conducted.
Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $168.
For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses.
