Handsome Noel (tripod) was rescued with a severe wound on his leg. He is a sweet, social, and loving kitty in need of some medical TLC. He was such a good boy when his bandages were changed regularly. After weeks and weeks of trying, the doctors said that the injury would not get better. In fact it was getting worse. Skin graphs were considered but that would have him in bandages for months and months and the chance of them taking were slim. We opted to remove the leg. As soon as he came out of anesthesia, he was a new kitty. He was so happy to be out of pain. Two weeks later, his stitches came out, and now he is ready for his extra special (indoor only) new home.

While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don't have their family history). Additionally, medical tests-though highly reliable-can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high.

Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $168.
For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses.
