About This Dog
What WeRescue Scout knows about CAPTAIN
Captain needs an active, experienced owner who can provide structure, consistent training, and plenty of physical and mental enrichment—hiking, trick training, and interactive games are his love language. He thrives with someone who understands herding breed instincts and can channel his intelligence and energy into a partnership rather than a relaxed household.
- Mouthing and nipping when excited; requires ongoing training and management.
- Needs experienced owner familiar with high-energy and herding breed behaviors.
- Not suited to apartment or low-activity homes.
