FIZZY

Meet Fizzy a 5-year-old Male Pit Bull. He’s full of energy, excitement, and heart… he just needs the right place to let it settle. Shelter life has been overwhelming for him. In his kennel, he gets very amped up; pacing, panting, drooling, and bouncing at the door. It’s his way of saying, “This is a LOT for me!” When meeting other dogs through fencing, Fizzy shows loose, wiggly body language, tail wagging, soft posture, and friendly sniffing. No aggression observed. He seems to genuinely enjoy canine company. Stress sometimes overrides his ability to fully relax with people, but he has shown soft, still moments during petting. Fizzy is a busy boy. He pulls strongly on leash and stays energetic in the yard. He’ll thrive with structured exercise and enrichment. Fizzy is a classic example of kennel stress. The noise, confinement, and constant activity are simply too much for this sensitive, high-energy guy. His anxious pacing and jumping aren’t signs of a “bad” dog, they’re signs of a dog who is overstimulated and ready for a calmer environment. In a home where he can decompress, we expect to see a much more settled version of Fizzy emerge. At 5 years old, he’s strong, capable, and ready for someone willing to see past the kennel chaos.
