Bella

Bella is a lovely girl. She is always happy, full of wags and kisses. She knows the difference between today and "before". Some rescue dogs know they are in a better place, and that today is a better day- that is Bella. Brought into rescue from a local shelter, from a neglectful home- she takes nothing for granted. If you have a warm bed, loving home, and are also interested in seeing the best in every day- this girl might be your next BFF.

Bella gets along with other dogs, her favorites in foster care are her size or smaller- and she does gravitate to male companions. She is interested in cats, but ignores them for the most part. She'd do best with a dog savvy cat that sets clear boundaries and doesn't run away. She'd do well as an only pet too- as long as her humans weren't gone for long hours and showered her with affection. She's very well behaved in the home. She's house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash while using a harness.


All humans in her forever home should be 6 years of age, or older. Preference will be given to families with fenced yards, or are active and willing to provide daily leash walks. Bella is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on preventions. She will require regular grooming, we prefer homes who have a history of non shedding dogs.
