Maximilian (Max)

Cute. Handsome. Photogenic. Sweet. There is no end to the compliments for Max! When you go out with Max, he'll get all the attention, pets, and rubs. He is very popular!

Max has lived outside for most of his life, so he deserves someone who will treat him as a part of the family. He has adjusted to indoor life seamlessly. He is house-trained and crate-trained and he responds to his name. Max will try his best to keep up with you on a jog (though he will plop on the cool grass once in a while). He also can be quiet and take long naps with you. He is learning to play fetch and to play with his toys.

Max is still learning "leave it" and "four on the floor," so he needs a family who can keep a close eye on him. A family without young children would be best. Max is very food motivated so a little patience and training will make him the perfect dog.

He really is the perfect teddy bear who will nudge under your hand for some scritches. Max is ready to find his forever home.
