Guy

Guy is a friendly, playful young dog who is ready to find his forever family. He's a true social butterfly and enjoys meeting both people and other dogs, greeting everyone with an easygoing, happy demeanor. While Guy enjoys playtime and toys, he also knows how to slow things down and focus. He can sit nicely, hold still, and even pose calmly for photos, showing off his more thoughtful, attentive side. He would do well in a home that enjoys regular walks, hikes, or outdoor time but also appreciates a dog who can relax and take cues from his people. Guy is currently fostered in a busy household with six other large dogs and two children ages 5 and 8, and he has handled that environment well. He is comfortable around kids, social with other dogs, and on walks he ignores neighborhood cats. At night, Guy sleeps in his crate, though during the day he prefers being out with his people rather than spending extended time crated. His leash skills are still improving day by day, and with consistency and continued training, he is expected to do very well. Rescue story: Guy was found alone in a Houston park known as a dumping ground for unwanted dogs. His foster mom, who regularly feeds stray dogs in the area, noticed him and brought him to safety. Since then, Guy has shown himself to be resilient, affectionate, and eager to connect with people. Guy is looking for a home that can provide structure, continued training, and companionship, and in return he'll be a loyal, well-rounded addition to the family. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption.
