Meet Nova,

Nova is a sweet, male cat that is on the shy side. He was found living in a culvert under a good Samaritan's driveway for over a year. The family is pretty sure he was dumped there or the prior homeowners left him behind. The family fed the cat for months before finally trapping him and taking him in when the weather started getting cold a few weeks ago. No one stepped up to claim him so he is now available for adoption. He is the sweetest boy but is very shy. He will need a quiet home where he can decompress and learn that living inside is a good thing. He does not have any aggression and will allow petting but is nervous while he is receiving pets and love. We believe he lived in a home once but has been outside for at least a year that now indoor living is still a little scary. At this time, he has shown interest in mellow cats when introduced!
