Do you love a story with a happy ending? We do too! Please meet Hot Wheels! This handsome guy was originally rescued from a very scary situation where he was found in the shoulder of the interstate with cars zooming past him. Thankfully, a kind samaritan was able to capture him from the highway and got him safely into rescue! While that was the first of his challenges, it wasn't the only. This guy also got sick with panleukopenia just when he made it into foster care. With plenty of TLC he has thankfully made a complete recovery and is now happier and healthier than ever. He is truly a survivor!!Hot Wheels loves pets and has a huge purr. He really enjoys headbutting on your legs and will follow you to the couch so he can get pets and hang out with you. He is a bit of a chatty guy and will have full conversations with you. He has a curious personality and enjoys exploring new things, including crinkle ball toys and silvervine sticks to play with. He is pretty good with being picked up, but he will also let you know when he's ready for some independent time. He can be a little sensitive to new things, even though he has a very happy and positive personality, so slower introductions are helpful to him. Hot Wheels does not prefer the company of other cats and must be the one and only animal in his forever home. He hasn't spent any time with kids in foster care. We are looking for a dog-free home for Hot Wheels. Now that he is all cleaned up and healthy, we know Hot Wheels will be a perfect addition to his forever home!
