Hi there! Thank you for checking me out. I’m not the kind of dog who runs up to everyone right away. I like to watch first. From a safe distance. Maybe from across the room. I’m just… careful, you know? The world can feel a little big when you’re my size .But if you’re patient with me and if you speak softly and don’t rush... I start to get curious. I’ll take a few tiny steps closer, sniff a little, maybe look up at you to make sure everything feels okay. Once I decide you’re safe… everything changes. I love attention. Like, really love it. Gentle pets, soft voices, being told I’m a good dog, it makes my whole body relax. My tail starts wagging, slow at first, then faster. And before you know it, I’m right there, leaning into you like I’ve known you forever. My favorite place in the whole world? A warm lap. Your lap, specifically. I curl up nice and tight, tuck my little paws in, and let out the tiniest sigh. Up there, I feel safe. Close, warm, protected. I might take a little time to open up, but once I do, I’m yours. Your shadow, your cuddle buddy, your tiny, loyal best friend. Just be patient with me!
