[email protected] or 828-674-9749 for more information or to adopt the pet. This is Henrietta, aka "Hen." Hen is a 55 pound, 5-year-old spayed female. Hen is a "foster fail" through a local rescue that is no longer operating. I adopted Hen after fostering her for a few months, but unfortunately, the household dynamic is not working for Hen's needs. She is dog selective with small dogs, and does not get along with the senior chihuahua of the house. Due to immense life changes (I have cancer and need further treatment that requires bringing in other people to help care for the dogs) managing the dynamics will become more difficult, and I'm faced with the need to find Hen a loving home without small dogs.Hen is a happy, sweet girl, a bit of a couch potato and window watcher, but never opposed to a good romp around the yard or a W-A-L-K. She is part Husky, and you will know because she will tell you all about it - She really does try to talk! She is house-trained, crate-trained and leash-trained, although she will pull on the leash during the early portion of a walk - it's just so exciting! She recently had her annual exam and is up to date on her rabies, vaccinations, and hw test. Hen's perfect owner would be: an active person or family without small dogs/cats/young kids, someone with a fenced yard, and someone who will pat her butt a lot. Please reach out to me at
