We probably should have named him The Grinch-there's a definite resemblance in both looks and attitude-but once he lets you into his heart, Truffles is pure sweetness.Truffles is a 5-month-old neutered male brown tabby Domestic Medium-Hair with a stunning coat and expressive eyes. His favorite pastimes include eating, playing with toys, and curling up on your lap-where he's happiest and most relaxed. He's just beginning to play with other kittens and is curious about them, but his social skills are still a work in progress. Because he adores one-on-one attention, Truffles would do wonderfully as an only kitty.Truffles prefers a calm, predictable environment and would thrive in a home with adults or older, mature children. Loud, chaotic settings-like pet store adoption events-make him nervous, and unfortunately, that's where he often gets overlooked. At events he may cower and seem withdrawn, but in a home environment he is a completely different kitten.In his foster home, Truffles is loving, affectionate, and incredibly devoted. He likes to be "where his peoples are." He He loves to snuggle on their lap, sleep on them, and purrs nonstop. He's a true purr machine, a charming nuzzlersnuggler, and even gives sweet little kisses. And yes-he is absolutely beautiful!Truffles is one of eight cats that Piedmont Animal Rescue saved when 25 cats (out of a reported 50) were brought to Lucky Cat's recent TrapNeuterReturn (TNR) clinic in Mooresville. Many were friendly and well socialized, yet most were heavily flea and tapeworminfested, and some were quite thin.
