Meet Niko! Niko has two adorable modes: playful puppy and ultimate snuggle bug. He loves toys and is perfectly happy entertaining himself by tossing them around-but if you're up for a game, he's always ready for fetch! Sometimes he hops around like a little bunny, and true to his terrier roots, he absolutely loves burrowing into blankets and couch cushions to get cozy.When playtime winds down, Niko is all about the cuddles. He enjoys snuggling up with his people or curling up next to other dogs. He does great in his kennel and even chooses to sleep there, making him a wonderful mix of fun and easygoing.A few more things to know about Niko: Great with other dogs-he currently lives with large breeds and loves to play with them Working on potty training and does well when kept on a consistent schedule Good with kids, though he can still be a bit mouthy with those sharp puppy teethNiko is a sweet, playful, and affectionate pup who's ready to bring joy, cuddles, and a little puppy energy into his forever home. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional's recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
