Hi, I'm Bessie.I'm a sweet, easygoing girl with just the right mix of playful and snuggly. I might be a little shy at first, but give me a little time and you'll see my gentle, loving personality shine through. I'm very good at letting you know what I need-whether it's playtime, a cozy nap, or a quiet moment to myself. My day usually starts with a burst of kitten energy-I love to climb, chase toys, and explore (especially my favorite cat tree!). Once I've gotten my zoomies out, I'm all about relaxing and recharging for the rest of the day. I'll happily snooze nearby until it's time for more snuggles-especially when my favorite people come home. I've even decided that bedtime belongs in bed with you… preferably right next to your pillow. I get along really well with other cats (I even convinced a senior kitty to play with me!), and I don't mind calm, low-energy dogs. I also adore kids and have formed a special bond with my foster family's little ones. One of my favorite "toys"? A plastic strawberry and plum from the play kitchen-I'm a simple girl with excellent taste. I'd describe myself as part independent observer, part professional cuddler-it just depends on my mood. I'm not overly mischievous, and I'm pretty easy to read, which makes living with me a breeze. I'm also fully litter box trained and getting really good with my scratching post (especially when there's a nice cat tree involved!).I can startle a little easily sometimes, but I'm gaining confidence every day and settling in beautifully. All I really need is a loving home where I can feel safe, cozy, and part of the family. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will bring both calm and cuddles into your life… I might just be your girl. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional's recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well.
