Chips and Dip are approx 6 week old male guinea pigs ready for their next adventure. These boys came into the rescue as part of an unexpected litter and were quite skittish. Through patience and lots of their favorite veggie (green pepper) they have started coming out of their shell.
As these boys are still young they will need continued patience and handling. The fun part is introducing them to all the great wonders of the world such as new chew toys, treats, and human interaction. Chips and Dip are also very vocal and their foster mom is sure they will greet their family with the happiest of piggie squeals.
They are very similar in coloring so to tell them apart Chips has a white ring around his body, while Dip (aptly named for being the runner of the two) has more dark brown on his body with a white speck towards the top of his head.
Given their young age their diet will consistsof all you can eat timothy and alfafa hay and young guinea pig pellet food with a variety of veggies daily. Their diet will change slightly when they reach 6 months old. Proper proof of enclosure and diet is required before adoption can happen. Their adoption fee is $60.
