Some cats spend their days napping in sunny windows. Velocity spent hers living on a rooftop.

For months, this young black-and-white girl lived the high life, only climbing down when a kind person brought her food. When her caregivers realized she was pregnant, they knew a rooftop was no place for a mama cat. They brought her to the vet, where one of the staff members offered to foster her.

The very next morning, Velocity thanked her foster family in the most dramatic way possible... by presenting them with five tiny kittens.

She raised her babies with love and devotion, and now that her kittens are weaned, it's finally Velocity's turn.

This sweet young lady is everything you could want in a companion. She's affectionate, laid-back, and always happy to spend time with her people. Being young, she still has plenty of playfulness and curiosity, and she's always interested in whatever is happening around her. She gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children, making her an easy fit for many different families.

After surviving life on a rooftop and raising five babies, Velocity is ready for the life she deserves: a soft bed, a sunny window, plenty of toys, and a family to call her own.
