Meet Patrick, a 3-year-old doodle (Labrador Retriever/ Poodle mix) with a heart as big as his journey. Though he's been through a lot in his life, it hasn't dimmed his spirit one bit. Patrick is incredibly sweet, loving, and happiest when he's close to his people.

He adores children and does wonderfully around other dogs-and even chickens! His calm, gentle nature makes him an easy companion for a variety of homes. Patrick weighs just under 50 pounds and is both crate trained and house trained. He already knows commands like sit and shake.

All Patrick truly wants is a safe, loving home where he can continue to share his affectionate and loyal personality. If you're looking for a kind, steady, and devoted companion, Patrick might just be your perfect match.

We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
