Meet Colin – A Senior Husky in Urgent Need of Rescue PlacementColin is an 8-year-old Husky who urgently needs a rescue placement with medical capacity. This sweet senior is currently in a shelter environment that cannot meet his medical needs, and without a rescue stepping forward, Colin faces a euthanasia deadline of February 11, 2026. Colin is clearly a dog who has been through a lot. He is underweight and has significant hair loss and skin issues, likely related to ectoparasites. He also has multiple visible masses located on his body. At this time, the masses have not been diagnosed, and additional diagnostics and staging have not been performed. Because of this, surgery is not recommended without further evaluation, and his care needs extend beyond what the shelter can provide.What Colin needs most right now is a chance, the chance to leave the stressful shelter environment and receive proper medical evaluation, comfort, and compassionate care in a calmer setting.
