Animal Profile: Tiny, Audrey
and Smidget are 6 month old German Shepherd/Poodle sisters who are ready for a new beginning! Born into a hoarding situation, they've already overcome a tough start, and thanks to our partners at Washington Health Outreach, they were able to find their way into rescue.
Now safe and healthy, Tiny, Audrey and Smidget are discovering the world for the first time... grass under their paws, toys to chase, and gentle hands to trust. They're still learning that life can be full of kindness and fun, but each day brings a little more confidence and a few more tail wags.
These girls are blossoming into the wonderful dogs they were always meant to be, and we can't wait to see them continue their journey with families who will help them shine.
Foster Update: Dogs before People is Tiny's motto! From day one she has absolutely loved spending time with the other dogs in her foster home. She is slowly coming around to the idea that people might also be enjoyable playmates. She has impeccable crate and potty skills especially for her age. Tiny is a big foodie and loves a treat or chew on her daily agenda. She is happy to go on a long walk even if that means she's getting twice as many steps as you with her tiny little legs. She's also happy to relax on a dog bed if you are busy working. Tiny will need to continued neutral exposure to the human side of the world. She has grown in confidence since coming into her foster home but definitely still will need to be supported through that continued growth.
