Doodle Bug

Animal Information: Doodle Bug is an estimated 3-year-old, female, Chihuahua-Spaniel mix currently weighing approximately 15 lbs. She is described as outgoing, happy and is just a joy. Definitely wants to be a lap dog.

Foster Profile: Doodle Bug ("Bug") is settling into the PNW and is ready to start her search for a forever home! This shy, sweet girl loves snuggling up in her foster's laps to watch TV and never says no to belly rubs. She's not particularly interested in toys, but LOVES her tennis balls and will happily chase them around the yard.

She's slowly learning the outside world doesn't have to be so scary and will benefit from an adopter willing to continue helping her be more confident. Bug loves her people but takes a while to warm up to new visitors, because of this, Bug needs an adult-only household. She will thrive in a quiet home with patience as she settles in.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166).

Animal History: This dog was transferred from our rescue partner, Saving Shelter Strays in Texas. She will be transferred via START, arriving to foster care on 11/16/2025 and is available for adoption in the greater Seattle area.
