Foxie has been special from the very beginning.
When she was just a tiny kitten, she was found trapped in a chain link fence. A kind soul gently freed her and asked if we could help. What she had been through left her with some lasting nerve damage, but if Foxie has ever spent a single day feeling sorry for herself, she certainly hasn't shown it. Since day 1, her mission has been to give and get as much love as possible!
Now two years old, Foxie is full of love and personality. She is spunky, silly, playful, and absolutely devoted to people. She loves attention, loves being part of the action, and has the kind of joyful spirit that makes her impossible not to adore.
Foxie does have some special needs, but she has a routine that works well for her and her foster family. She takes medication to help hold her bladder, and we have created a special litter box that is easier for her to use, with paper litter that she can navigate. Most cats would not allow you to diaper them, but Foxie is smart!! On special occasions when Foxie will want to be part of ALL the activity and play with each person, she understands that a diaper keeps any accidents from happening, and she easily allows it--but she does not need a diaper all the time. Her needs are manageable, and just one small part of who she is.
Foxie is so much more than her difficult start and any physical problem she could have. She is a happy little survivor. A sweetheart. A goofball. A cat who still meets the world with trust, affection, and enthusiasm. She has been loved and cared for since she was a baby, and now she is ready for the one thing she's been waiting for all along: a home of her very own.
Foxie is looking for someone with a big heart who sees how special she is and says, "Yes. That's my girl." Could it be you?
Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten!
If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org.
We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes. For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.
Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.
All CATsNAP cats and kittens are:
Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus
Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age)
Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)
Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment
Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions
Micro-chipping as mandated by state law
