East Coast Canine Rescue
RescueECCR (East Coast Canine Rescue Inc.) is a non-profit 501c3 volunteer based animal welfare organization dedicated to rescuing homeless canines from crowded shelters, to social media and personal pleas. Working within a network of animal advocates, foster caregivers, veterinarians, shelters and rehabilitation centers, ECCR is able to rescue, re-home and rehabilitate hundreds of animals per year. ECCR provides outstanding care to the dogs in our partner foster homes until we place them in their adoptive homes. ECCR also serve as an informational resource to our local communities via social media and outreach programs on the importance of spay/neuter, as well as behavioral issues and training. ECCR strives every day to make sure the rescue does everything in its power to leave no animal behind.
ECCR is founded by a team of dog lovers and advocates dedicated to rescuing and re-homing lost, relinquished and abused animals primarily in the Northeast tristate area and Southern half of the United States. These areas present a large number of animals in need. In collaboration with our veterinarian and Shelter partners, the rescue is able to transfer these dogs into foster homes that will care for them until their permanent adoptions. ECCR is able to provide food, medical services, preventative care and most importantly love to these forgotten dogs who have no other chance at life.
