Meet Leroy! Leroy is a gentle soul that is looking for a quiet home where he can take his time to adjust and feel safe. We rescued Leroy, and his brother Ceelo, from a high kill shelter, where their lives were at risk of ending too soon, simply because they are timid. These boys are super bonded to each other, and seem to use each other as a form of security; if you see one of them the other is sure to be curled up right next to him. Leroy is shy of people, though he will allow you to pick him up, if you calmly corner him and slowly pick him up. These boys adjust well to routines, and know when and where to go to be let outside and back inside again. All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home.

Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt.
