Mary Lou

UPDATE: Mary Lou is a very energetic and playful cat. She loves to run after her mouse or chase a light beam shining on the floor or wall. When left alone, she often amuses herself by batting her toy mouse around or playing with a shoelace.

She is very affectionate and loves to be petted, especially her underside. She makes a great lap warmer! She is very inquisitive, exploring to see what is hidden behind doors, inside cabinets, or in nooks and crannies.

Although wary at first, it does not take her long to acclimate to a new situation, such as covering her with a blanket, going up and down stairs, or having her nails cut. She is well behaved; she does not scratch furniture, reminds you that it is time for her evening feeding, and then waits patiently for her food.



UPDATE: Mary Lou, a one-year-old gray and white cat, has adapted well in our household. She is extremely friendly and loves to cuddle up on the couch or in your lap. She is well-behaved and loves to explore her surroundings, especially closets. She often keeps herself amused by batting her toy mouse or ball around the house and chasing after it.

Her previous owner adored her but had to move and sadly couldn't take her along. She's now waiting patiently for someone new to give her the love and stability she deserves.

Mary Lou is a friendly sweet cat that likes everyone and gets along with other cats. She uses a litter box, is up to date on vaccines, and spayed. All she needs now is a forever family.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee. Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
