Baci ("kisses" in Italian), as her name implies, is very loving, sweet and affectionate with everyone she meets. She loves humans, dogs and strangers. Baci loves to give kisses, and like a true ACD, she sometimes adds a tiny "love nibble," which she's actively working on improving
Baci has been working on basic manners in foster care - sit, heel, stay and recall are all coming along. It is quite nice to take a walk with her. She has also been working at crate training, and sleeps in her crate overnight and for naps during the day.
Baci LOVES other dogs and has been around dozens of dogs while in foster care, so she is very well socialized. She would be fine to go to a home with or without other dogs. She is a rambunctious player though she does best with confident, playful adult dogs who can match her rambunctious play style and help her take breaks when needed.
Baci was found as a stray in North Carolina, but we can tell she is young and is estimated to be just under a year old and is about 30 pounds. She is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccines. Baci appears to be a purebred ACD and the perfect blend of angel/devil/clown, true to the breed. If you know ACDs, you know what we mean. She has the potential to be an outstanding ambassador of cattle dogs everywhere due to her overwhelmingly friendly nature to everyone she meets.
If you are interested in meeting Baci, you must be willing to travel to her foster home in Taghkanic, NY to meet her, but we promise you, it will be worth the trip!
