Allie was one of five dogs from one home recently brought to the shelter for rehoming, Because we are not familiar with their background, we are doing our best to start from scratch with personality assessments and get an idea of best fit for placement. Of the five dogs, she is the one that is a scaredy-cat and is having a difficult time adapting to the shelter environment. We were able to move her kennel run to the front to make it less frightening for her to leave the kennel. We also introduced her to an older confident puppy, and that has made a big difference in her wish to socialize. She will need a patient adopter, a fenced yard, and another dog to really feel good about the changes in her life.
