Rocky Top: At shelter

ROCKY TOP is a big boy with lots of love to share with humans. He was a perfect subject for a dog - cat compatibility test, probably because he has been an outdoor cat, and learned to get along well with Dogs. He is getting over some raw spots on the back of his ears from scratching due to severe ear mites.

We have treated those, and he had deep ear cleaning thanks to Dr. Rogers and her staff at Rustburg Veterinary Clinic on Tuesday.

We had a bit of a setback finding out that he is FIV positive, but feel confident this boy can find a home regardless. He is neutered and available for adoption. Please do not be afraid to adopt a cat that is FIV positive, as they can live long lives!
