We are helping a local rescue with a "My Home to Yours" situation. A previous adopter passed away and neither family nor friends can take 4 precious seniors in. They do not need to be adopted together however. Here's one cutie pie now. Meet Sugar. She is a gentle 7-year-old soul with the sweetest heart. She's quite shy at first meetings, but give her a little time and patience. Once she knows you're safe, she transforms into a love bug who adores being petted and will happily lick you to pieces.

Spayed, up to date on vaccines, and looking for a calm, understanding home where she can blossom. Sugar lost her person and really needs someone to call her own again.

We have had numerous requests from citizens in our county to help them rehome their pets, but they are willing to keep them in the home until it happens, rather than bring them to the overflowing shelter at Campbell County Animal Control near Yellow Branch. We are listing those cats and dogs on our website as "My Home to Yours." We ask that interested adopters fill out the FOAC application, and we will pass it along to the family wanting to rehome. We cannot guarantee health, temperament, or behavior for these pets, as we have not met them. However, we are happy to act as a resource for issues that may arise. **For pets not spayed or neutered, we are happy to help set that up!
