This is Luna! She is new to the Campbell County Shelter, as of Monday. She is a sweet little girl just one year old, who has already been in two homes, and needs stability in her life now. Estimated weight is 30 pounds, and she probably will not grow larger. She is a ringer for a dog in the home of one of our volunteers that is a cattle dog/boxer mix, so we are wondering if it's possible that's what Luna's mix may be! We are told that Luna came originally from an older man, and was taken in by a mom with two babies who realized that a new dog and two babies was just too much. We are going to take great care of Luna and hope you will help us by considering her for adoption! She was cooperative yesterday when we took her out for pictures, walking easily on a leash and not pulling to get away. She has a silky, soft coat, and loves having human friends! She seemed very excited when she saw children playing on the playground at the school next-door, so maybe a family with children will be in her future. Isn't she cute?
