Meet AmoraThis beautiful 3-year-old spayed female is looking for a fresh start after coming to the shelter through no fault of her own. Her previous owner sadly could no longer care for her, and now Amora is hoping to find a family that will love her forever.Amora is not your typical high-energy shepherd. She is a low-maintenance, laid-back girl who enjoys the simpler things in life. Because she is currently overweight, she will need a family committed to helping her continue her weight-loss journey and live her healthiest life. The good news is that we discovered Amora loves agility equipment and enjoys getting out to explore and have fun.She appears to be housebroken, does well with children, and has a gentle, easygoing personality that makes her such a joy to be around. Amora can be a little sensitive emotionally, and the shelter environment is already starting to take a toll on her. She is the type of dog that will continue to shut down the longer she sits in a kennel.Amora desperately needs a home where she can decompress, feel safe, and be loved again. Please do not let her spend weeks wondering why she is here.Come meet Amora and give this sweet girl the second chance she deserves. If you are interested in meeting Amora, please visit the shelter during open adoption hours:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 10 AMâ12:30 PM & 2 PMâ4 PMThursday: 10 AMâ12:30 PM & 2 PMâ6:30 PMSaturday: 9 AMâ1 PMIf you do not own your home, please bring written consent from the property owner allowing a dog on the property.
