Meet Cora!Cora is a beautiful 1-year-old calico with a gentle heart and a quiet spirit. She can be a little shy at first, preferring to take her time getting to know new people and surroundings. But with patience, kindness, and a calm environment, Cora is more than willing to come out of her shell and show you just how sweet she truly is.The fastest way to win her over? Churu treats! They are her absolute favorite thing in the world. Bring out a tube, and youâll see her brave side shine through as she eagerly leans in for her special snack. Itâs the perfect way to build trust and create a special bond with her.Cora also has experience living with other cats, which could make her a wonderful companion for a feline friend in her new home. She would likely do best in a peaceful household that understands shy kitties just need a little extra time and love.If youâre ready to give a tender-hearted girl the patience she deserves, Cora will reward you with quiet companionship and sweet, trusting moments that make it all worthwhile.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
