Meet Arenas!Arenas is a handsome 3-year-old black cat who’s looking for a patient and loving forever home. With his sleek black coat and gentle eyes, Arenas is a sweet boy who may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his loving personality begins to shine. He enjoys quiet spaces, cozy naps, and spending time near the people he trusts. While Arenas may take a little time to warm up, he’s well worth the patience and will reward you with companionship, affection, and quiet loyalty. This special boy is looking for a calm home where he can build confidence and feel loved at his own pace.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
