Meet Pippa! This quiet, gentle cat is looking for a patient heart and a peaceful place to call home. A little shy at first, she prefers to take her time getting to know new people and surroundingsâbut behind that cautious exterior is a sweet soul just waiting to feel safe. She finds comfort in soft beds, quiet corners, and calm routines. With a little patience and understanding, youâll start to see their confidence growâmaybe first through soft purrs, slow blinks, or sitting just a little closer each day. This special kitty would do best in a low-traffic home with someone who appreciates the beauty of earning an animalâs trust. If youâre willing to go at their pace, youâll be rewarded with a deeply meaningful bond and a loyal companion who truly feels like your own.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
