Shady’s as charming as she is beautiful, with a friendly personality that makes her an instant favorite. This sweet girl enjoys being around people and will happily keep you company throughout the day. Whether she’s following you from room to room, lounging nearby, or soaking up gentle pets, Shady’s always ready to share her affection. She has a playful side too and loves a good toy or a burst of zoomies to brighten her day. With her easygoing nature and loving spirit, she’ll fit right into a variety of homes. Shady’s looking for a family who will appreciate her companionship and give her the cozy, caring home she deserves.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
