Meet Scarlet!Scarlet is a gorgeous 4-year-old black cat with a sleek coat, bright eyes, and a loving personality. This beautiful girl is ready to leave shelter life behind and find a forever home where she can truly shine.Scarlet is a wonderful mix of affectionate and independent. She enjoys spending time with people, relaxing in cozy spots, and soaking up attention from those she trusts. Her calm and gentle nature makes her an easy companion to love. At 4 years old, Scarlet is the perfect age — playful enough to keep life fun, but mature enough to appreciate the quiet comforts of home. She’s hoping to find a family who will give her the love, stability, and cozy naps she deserves.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
