Meet Baxter!Baxter is a handsome 2-year-old tuxedo boy with classic black-and-white charm and a personality that’s impossible not to love. Playful, curious, and full of life, Baxter is always ready to turn everyday moments into fun adventures, whether he’s chasing toys, exploring new spaces, or making himself comfortable right by your side. Baxter is affectionate and social, enjoying attention from his people and happily soaking up pets and companionship. He has the perfect balance of playful energy and laid-back cuddle time, making him a wonderful fit for a variety of homes. This sweet boy is looking for a loving forever family where he can continue to thrive, share his goofy charm, and be treated like the special companion he is.Baxter is on-site and available for introductions during open adoption hours. The adoption paperwork can be completed now with your new pet able to go home as soon as the spay/neuter procedure has been completed.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
