Lincoln is one of the puppies from our Nebraska litter, surrendered to HUGS so they could be safely rehomed after an unplanned litter between two German Shepherd parents.
Lincoln is 3.5 months old and this handsome boy is everything you'd expect from a German Shepherd puppy: smart, curious, and full of heart. Lincoln is both people-oriented and dog-friendly. He loves to play with toys, explore, and be part of whatever you're doing-whether that's an outdoor adventure or just tackling chores around the house. Lincoln also loves to play with other dogs!
Lincoln is eager to learn and happy to please. He's already showing off his intelligence as he works on basic commands like sit, down, touch, spin, and come. He enjoys tug toys, chewing on bones, and is just as content relaxing on the couch with his favorite toy by your side.
Confident and adventurous, Lincoln can be a little independent at times. But don't worry, he absolutely adores his people and always wants to know where you are (and how he can "help"). With his strong nose and love of sniffing, he'd make a fantastic walking, running, or hiking companion.
He's off to a great start with kennel training and potty training, and he truly enjoys learning new things. Lincoln is a great puppy. With continued guidance, he's going to grow into an incredible companion.
Like all German Shepherds and herding breeds, Lincoln will thrive in a home that provides structure, consistency, training, and plenty of physical and mental activity. His ideal home will be active, committed, and experienced with GSDs or similar breeds. A playful canine companion would be a big bonus!
Even with a fenced yard, daily walks and outings are essential to help Lincoln stay well-balanced, build good manners, and avoid boredom.
Lincoln has a big heart, a bright mind, and a sweet, loving personality. He's ready to find his forever family!
