Just one look at Teddy and you'll fall in love-those soulful eyes, his fluffy black coat, and his adorable little white-tipped paws make him impossible to resist! Teddy is about 12-weeks-old, a 9-pound bundle of playful energy, and oh so smart. He loves to stay busy, whether he's running around the yard with other dogs, tossing toys around inside, or bouncing from one fun activity to the next. He would thrive in an active home that can keep up with his happy, curious spirit. While Teddy enjoys playtime, his favorite place is right next to his people. He enjoys being held when walking around and is happy to lay at your feet when he needs to catch a snooze! As he gains confidence, he's also starting to explore more on his own and alongside his foster dog siblings. Teddy has been wonderful with young children (ages 2-5 yo). He's also incredibly smart-he's already doing great with potty training and has taken to crate training like a champ. This soft little teddy bear of a pup is ready to find his forever family!
Like all German Shepherds and herding breeds, Teddy will thrive in a home that provides structure, consistency, training, and plenty of physical and mental activity. His ideal home will be active, committed, and experienced with GSDs or similar breeds. A playful canine companion would be a big bonus!
Even with a fenced yard, daily walks and outings are essential to help Teddy stay well-balanced, build good manners, and avoid boredom.
Teddy has a big heart, a bright mind, and a sweet, loving personality. He's ready to find his forever family!
