This 11-week-old Husky/German Shepherd mix has big-brain energy! At 13 lbs, Zephyr is incredibly smart, eager to please, and loves to explore the backyard at her own pace. Zephyr is very close to being fully house-trained, does well sleeping in a pen, and is already showing what an easy, trainable companion she'll be. She's one of those puppies who's happy to play but also totally content doing her own thing nearby, especially if it ends with cuddles and her nightly "affirmations" before bed.Zephyr does great with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, including her brother. She hasn't been around cats yet, so a proper introduction is recommended. She is FANTASTIC with kids and has shown herself to be patient, sweet, and affectionate around them. She's curious and willing to explore on her own, and mostly a calm puppy but will play. Especially with squeaky toys, bully chew sticks, and lick mats!Zephyr is simple, gentle and loves everyone. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional's recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
