Goose is an 8-month-old Pitbull mix who loves everything and everyone! Already weighing in at 52 lbs and still growing into a large dog, Goose is a happy, silly, affectionate puppy.True to his name, Goose is a certified silly goose. He's wildly excited to meet people, adores affection, and has zero concept of personal space, in the best way. He'll happily flop into your lap, grunt contentedly while being petted, and snooze with the sweetest little snore. He's also surprisingly plush for a pittie, with a feather-soft coat that makes cuddling mandatory.Goose is very smart and adaptable, settling into his foster home with ease. He also learned "sit" and "shake" in 1 day. This boy is smart! He should be fully potty trained very soon, and is learning to relax in his crate too. He leans towards being a velcro dog, but could thrive in a variety of situations.Goose is curious and does well with other dogs, but does not have experience with cats or children. He will require slow introductions with cats, and supervision around young children because he is unaware of his size.He's medium-to-high energy and thrives with both mental and physical stimulation, playtime, toys, benebones, and a good run once or twice a day help keep him happy and balanced. Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional's recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
