Horatio is a sweet little 9-month-old man looking for a forever home to knead his biscuits! This chill guy spends most of his days lounging. While he enjoys playing with toys, he will be just as happy relaxing with you while you do your thing. He comes alive at night and would love a night owl person to play with, but is also content to lie on top of you and cuddle while you sleep. He is an industrious young boy and is eager to show you how great his massive kitty mitts are at making biscuits; he is also very fond of rolling around while getting skritches on his shoulders and buns. Horatio is still working on his coordination and accidentally rolls off surfaces and falls over at times, but he always makes sure to be adorable in the process.(Can't disappoint his fan base, right?)Even though he is young, this handsome fellow is pretty chill and low-key, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love to play. Once he knows you, he will happily play and pat gently with your feet while you work. It may take a bit to get him to open up, so he needs a little patience and kindness from his forever human. He currently lives in a house with 3 adults, a senior resident cat, and two resident adult pups. He gets along with everyone quite well and enjoys getting cleaned by both the cat and the shyer pup. He hasn't met any children yet. He spends most of his mornings watching his foster mom work from home and most of his nights running about the house, singing the songs of his people.Horatio's ideal home would be one where he can take his time getting to know you. He loves to snuggle, but it might take a little bit of time for him to open up. He does like other animals, but would also be happy soaking up plenty of chill affection and play time as an only pet, provided his people work from home and/or are around a lot. Before getting neutered, he had some issues with marking, but that seems to be resolved now. He may need some help with continued litter box training for pooping, but he is making progress. Because he currently lives with a senior cat who cannot always get to the box in time, Horatio may be a bit confused about where pooping happens in the house. Kind, gentle redirection from his forever people will help him get back to his fastidious cat self! This adorable guy went through hard times before he discovered the cozy indoor life; he had some issues with mild frostbite and severe dehydration when we found him, but he seems to have recovered well. All he needs now is a warm, loving home, so he can continue to enjoy the beautiful life he deserves.
