Einstein is a 1-year-old Doodle mix who loves any and all attention from any human he comes across. Despite a rough first year of life hobbling on a broken leg, he still has the attitude of the happiest dog you've ever met!Weighing about 50 pounds, Einstein is fully house-trained and a very respectful roommate. He sleeps in bed with his foster family and is happy to stick to his side of the bed. When left alone, he stays on the half of the house without cats and he has been very good for 3-4 hours at a time. Though is he is a doodle, he has a medium level of shedding. He is quite submissive but very friendly when meeting other dogs, taking corrections very well and has plenty of fun. He loves cats too, but will need to work on not chasing them to try and play. Einstein is great with kids and has loved meeting his 2-year-old neighbor.Though he recently had a hind leg amputated, he's adapted beautifully. He still runs and plays with high energy, and most of the time, you'd hardly notice he's missing a leg. He loves to carry his stuffed toys around with him, even bringing them outside to bounce around throwing them up into the air. Einstein can be vocal so he cannot live in a home with shared walls (no apartments/townhomes).This happy, affectionate boy absolutely lives for attention. He'll roll onto his back with his big paws in the air asking for belly rubs, and he never passes up a chance to soak up love from anyone he meets. Einstein is a resilient, joyful pup who's overcome so much and still greets the world with excitement and love. If you're looking for a loyal, lively companion and are ready to support his continued growth, Einstein just might be your perfect match.
