Walter is a 5-year-old observant gentleman looking for his forever home! This big-boned, handsome guy enjoys the finer things in life- lounging in sunny windows, stretching out on the bed, or keeping watch from a high perch like the top of the fridge or a bookshelf. When he's not relaxing, he loves a good play session with string or shoelaces.Walter has a low-to-medium energy level most of the time, but he's known to surprise you with an after-dinner zoomie session that's guaranteed to make you smile. He's generally independent and enjoys his own space, though he'll occasionally accept head pets or chin scratches- especially if it's been a while since he's seen you.Currently living in a one-bedroom apartment with his foster mom, Walter proudly enjoys being the "man of the house." His ideal home would be a calm, quiet environment with someone who understands his boundaries and can recognize when he's had enough stimulation. He'd love a home with plenty of cozy spots for lounging and napping. Walter does take a daily dose of fluoxetine (Prozac), which is easily mixed into his dinner. While Walter isn't a constant cuddle bug, he shows his affection in his own sweet ways, like sleeping on the bed next to you every night. He's also very curious when meeting new people and will happily hang out nearby… and might even give a friendly hand lick! If you're looking for a laid-back companion with a charming personality and a heart of gold, Walter might just be your perfect match.- - - - - - - - - - - - -There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown.
