Beautiful, five-month-old Willow is ready to chirp to you about her day! This pretty girl is a sweet and friendly kitten who came in with her 3 brothers (Walt, Winter, and Winston). These babies had been abandoned by mom at just over a week old, were found by a Good Samaritan, bottle-fed, weaned, and are now ready for their forever homes! Since they've been around people their whole lives, these sweeties are very people-oriented and friendly. Willow is the only female, the only black cat of the bunch, and is very petite - she is as light as a feather! What she lacks in size, she makes up for in personality. Inquisitive, curious, and athletic, she likes to explore and sit up high. Don't be surprised if she tries to ride on your shoulders! Less rambunctious than the boys, she lets her brothers roughhouse and acts like she's not interested, but soon launches an ambush attack and gives as good as she gets. Speaking of purrrsonality....Willow's purrs vibrate her entire little body and she loves to snuggleup with people. This curious gal also likes to know where you are at all times and will come to find you if you disappear for too long, then jumps up for a snooze as soon as you sit down....with her motor going the whole time. She has beautiful golden eyes and is fully black, with white ear hairs and one single white whisker. She is the most vocal of her kitten family, chirping and trilling more than meowing.Willow has typical kitten curiosity and energy. She is an adventurer, investigating every nook and cranny she can find - and she finds them all! Her small size means she can get into some tight quarters, so you will need to keep an eye on her and perhaps do some minor "kitten-proofing" to keep any very small spaces safe or out of reach. She can often be found playing with toys or her brothers and loves batting at feather wands and chasing springs. The whole litter takes an afternoon nap, spread out around the house and she's often the first to find the sunny spots.Willow is currently living with her 3 kitten brothers and 3 of the foster's resident adult cats in a single-family home; she happily shares the space with her human foster mom and dad and their two college-age kids. Willow takes the comings and goings of a busy house in stride and is happy to let anyone give her attention. She gets along with everyone, people or pets, but seems to have a very slight preference for women over men. That's not to say she doesn't like men; she does, but if Mom is home, she goes to Mom first, then Dad.Willow just wants someone to love who will let her snuggle. She's independent and can keep herself occupied, but really loves her people, so a home with someone who is around a lot to chat with her would be best. Expect lots of solo playing and adventures, but she'll check in with you and trill to tell you about her day, then settle in for a purr-filled snooze.I think she will make a lovely family cat, ready to play, be picked up and carried around, or to hang out while the TV is on. She would probably be fascinated by calm, cat-savvy kids, watching their every move before deciding to join in the fun. But she is very petite, so gentle handling is a must.Willow and her siblings were exposed to dogs prior to coming to Pet Haven and did fine with them. I would expect her to adjust to a dog or another cat just fine with slow introductions.Willow should be adopted with one of her brothers (Walt, Winter, or Winston). She is often found snuggling with Winston, but plays and naps with all of her brothers, often ending up on the bottom of the pile.If you're ready for a lovely, talkative pal this spring, please consider adding Willow and one of her playful bros to your family! There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown.
