Meet Penn, a lovable pit bull mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. Around 2â3 years old, Penn recently arrived at the shelter as a stray, and weâre still getting to know all the wonderful things about him. What we do know so far? Heâs incredibly affectionate, social, and sweet with everyone he meets. Penn enjoys human attention and is always happy to soak up some love! Heâs been doing well in play groups with other dogs, and with a proper meet-and-greet, he could be a great canine companion too. As Penn continues to settle in, his personality is sure to shine even moreâheâs ready to find a home where he can share all that love.If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog's better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $135.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2025 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older.
