Hi, I am James Earl Bones. If you are looking for a pocket-sized best friend, look no further! I am short, compact, and full of love. Don't be fooled by my small size; I am super strong and super active! I love to run in the yards, explore while on walks, and go on adventures as much as I can. When I'm not trotting around with my favorite human, I like to slide on my belly and rub my tummy on the grass (everyone says it looks like I'm swimming!). I love toys and will play all day long if you let me. I prefer to be the only animal in my next home; with a body this small, but a heart this huge, I don't want to share you with anyone else! I'd also do best with teens to adults and an active family who wants to play. I have been at the shelter for quite some time, have been in foster once, and am for sure a staff favorite. He is energetic, playful, fun, adorable, loving, and kind. He is a frequent office guest and one of the most polite! He is incredibly smart and is happiest when we work his brain. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home.
